CUSTOMIZED DESIGN
OLYMPIC BENCH — CUSTOMIZED BY CRÖM-D
Commissioned by Design Week Mexico, CRÖM-D reinterpreted the Olympic Bench originally designed by the French collective Hall Haus.
Inspired by the urban creativity of Mexico City, this customization envisions a future in which nature gradually reclaims its place within our cities. A future where the boundaries between the built environment and living ecosystems dissolve, allowing plants to colonize infrastructures, objects, and urban furniture.

CHROMED SURFBOARD — BREITLING × CRÖM-D - Zsonamaco ArtFair
Created for Breitling, the Chromed Surfboard is CRÖM-D’s interpretation of a future shaped by climate change and rising sea levels.
The project explores a speculative scenario in which oceans have gradually engulfed cities, profoundly transforming the way we live, build, and move through urban environments.
In this submerged landscape, surfboards, windsurf boards, and small boats become everyday means of transportation.
Drawing from this vision, CRÖM-D reimagines the surfboard through the visual culture of Mexico City.
Inspired by the customized trucks, motorcycles, buses, and cars that animate the city’s streets, the board adopts a chromed, reflective, and luminous aesthetic. Blending surf culture with urban craftsmanship, the object becomes both a functional vehicle and a symbol of adaptation, resilience, and creativity in the face of environmental change.
